TIDD Crane Service
We recommend standard daily and weekly maintenance checks are carried out, we have included these checks with our comprehensive Crane Familiarisation Video, available to all TIDD Crane Operators.
Maintenance and service plans
We recommend a 100-hour and a 250-hour service and maintenance schedule. TRT has a very knowledgeable and experienced network across Australia and New Zealand that provides TIDD customers with peace of mind. Factory-trained technicians from our network are able to travel to customer sites and offer the responsive support that keeps TIDD Cranes lifting, where others can't.
Workmanship Guarantee
We know where every component of our product is sourced and we manufacture TIDD cranes in our New Zealand manufacturing facility under the quality assurance of ISO 9001:2015.
We use quality OEM parts for those components that we do not manufacture in-house. We use quality steel sourced from Australia and Sweden. So that you know when you choose TIDD you are choosing to support local.
TIDD PC28 crane has a standard warranty
- 12-month warranty on components
- 5-year structural warranty

TIDD Crane Spare Parts
We have an extensive crane parts operation, importing components from around the world and manufacturing OEM spare parts in our own facility. These parts and components are also industry standard construction and crane machinery components to ensure the whole-of-life serviceability of your TIDD Crane.
We have a stock of commonly used consumables and spares available to TIDD Crane customers from any of our TRT locations or from our dealer network, with stock and service support available from:

Operator Familiarisation Programme
Upgrading your crane fleet to include TIDD PC28-2 pick and carry cranes is simple and efficient for all operators with our new familiarisation programme, with your team in mind.
TRT has developed an exclusive familiarisation programme for trained pick and carry operators designed to suit your schedule and location. The programme includes:
- In-person from one of our factory-trained experts
- A familiarisation video with 24/7 access
- Online manual access 24/7
- Remote video with one of our factory-trained experts
The TIDD Crane familiarisation experience is delivered via the most suitable method for your operation and your trained operators. We have in-person or distance training supported by our comprehensive familiarisation video. Operator familiarisation is delivered throughout Australia and New Zealand by TRT and our dealer network, or further afield, as required. Our experienced and passionate experts can travel to most locations.
Note that some familiarisation may be required to be customised depending on your location.
Operator Familiarisation Video
We have just launched our TIDD Crane Operator Familiarisation Video. Your team is supported by experienced TIDD Crane experts 24/7 using our new comprehensive video as a guide and reference to pre-op checks, operator controls and safety operations. This means we can deliver virtual options online, for more remote operators, as required with access to this video information online 24/7. We even have QR Code links displayed within the Cab.
Important Note: TRT's programme does not constitute a “verification of competency”, or formal crane operator training from a qualified training organisation. It is intended to support a quality crane familiarisation programme. It should be used in conjunction with physical crane familiarisation, prior to first time TIDD PC28 or TIDD PC28-2 Crane operation.
